The study's objective was to determine how the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences students' triple roles strategy affected the development and enhancement of fundamental basketball skills. The researcher employed an experimental approach based on the study's nature and suitability, and the sample was chosen at random from the initial research community, which consisted of 40 students representing the second stage in the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for the 2023-2024 academic year, Basketball skill performance was assessed using standard tests both before and after the experiment, which lasted eight weeks with two sessions per week. The researcher employed the triple roles strategy and applied it to the control group, while instruction proceeded as planned for the control group.
After the completion of the work for eight weeks, the following findings were drawn:
• The results of the experimental group showed a clear and noticeable improvement in the performance of skills compared to the results of the control group.
• Preference to enhance practical understanding in favor of the experimental group.
• Developed and increased self-confidence in favor of the experimental group because of receiving and providing feedback.
Therefore, the conclusions showed that the strategy of triple roles represents an effective educational method for the development of basic skills in basketball and the researcher recommends the application of this strategy in practical exercises for various sports for its effective role in improving and developing the skills of students.
