Abstract:

The requirements of education in the 4.0 era demand a transformation in the way teachers teach and students learn. Teaching based on the Flipped Classroom (FC) model is one of the modern instructional methods that fully meets the requirements for developing learners’ cognitive abilities, independent creativity, and problem-solving skills. Through theoretical research on the FC model, this article evaluates the current implementation of the flipped classroom model in physical education teaching at high schools in Vietnam. Based on this, the article provides appropriate recommendations to improve the effectiveness of physical education teaching in schools.
